In other words, if we divide a number by 2 and it leaves no remainder, then the number is an even number. But dividing large numbers can be time-consuming. So you should know the trick to identify if the number is even or not without dividing it by 2.<\/p>\n<p>For this, you should check the ones place or unit digit of the given number. If the ones place of a given number has digits 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8, then the given number is an even number. Otherwise, the given number is odd.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s check these two numbers- (1) 7249910 and (2) 2091311.<br \/>You can now clearly see that in the first number, 7249910, the unit digit is 0. So, 7249910 is even.<br \/>For the second number, 2091311, the unit digit is 1.
