Even if 0 is a whole number and an integer, but it is neither a positive integer nor a negative integer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So the smallest positive integer is 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Why one or 1 is the smallest positive integer?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In our daily lives, we use positive integers in counting things and doing calculations.
